Disaster Risk Reduction: possibilites and limits

This one day conference will explore the challenges faced when planning for sustainable, community based disaster risk reduction. The speaker's panel includes high ranking officials from the International Federation of the Red Cross/Red Crescent Societies along side academics from the field of public health. This conference is open to the public, but forms part of the two week summer school attached to the MSc Disaster Healthcare programme.
