It gives examples of gender and diversity based risks and vulnerabilities in urban area and draws specific attention to the social and economic inequalities, which need to be considered in urban environments (including challenges faced by migrants and people with disabilities). Lastly, the publication explains why and how to take gender and diversity needs into account during disaster relief operations.
