New MSc in Civil Engineering for Mitigation of Risk from Natural Hazards

ORGANIZZATORE: INSTITUTE FOR ADVANCED STUDY IN PAVIA (IUSS)

The University of Pavia and the University School of Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia (Italy) are happy to announce the new international Master of Science in Civil Engineering for Mitigation of Risk from Natural Hazards (CivRisk).



The programme features two curricula:



  • Reduction of Seismic Risk (ROSE)

  • Hydrogeological Risk Assessment and Mitigation (HYRIS)


Courses are taught in English by highly qualified, internationally recognised lecturers, following the ROSE programme tradition of over 15 years.


The programme lasts 2 years (3 semesters of courses and 1 for the dissertation) and is fully held in Pavia (with possibility of stages/internships for the dissertation).
